Fritzbox DynDNS with OVH DynHost

This is about how to update your OVH DynHost using your Fritzbox DynDns function.

First add a DynHost (DynHost > Add a DynHost) and create a DynHost username (DynHost > Manage access) in your OVH Manager, then in your Fritzbox check “Use DynDns” and fill out the form with the following:

Update-URL: https://www.ovh.com/nic/update?system=dyndns&hostname=<domain>&myip=<ipaddr>
Domainname: OVH_DYNHOST_DOMAIN
Username: OVH_DYNHOST_USERNAME_ID
Pass: OVH_DYNHOST_PASS

Now check Fritzbox overview, you should see something like (translated): “DynDNS activated, , IPv4-Status: successfully authenticated”. If successful, the Fritzbox IP should match the OVH DynHost Target.
